Ana Lorga da Silva is an Associate Professor at the School of Economic Sciences and Organizations (ECEO) and the Faculty of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (FCSEA) at Universidade Lusófona, Lisbon, Portugal.
Her research focuses on Applied Mathematics, with a particular emphasis on missing data treatment. She has published several journal articles and book chapters on the application of mathematics to Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology, and Veterinary Sciences.
Since 2014, she has collaborated with the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México as part of international research groups. More recently, she organized the JOCLAD2020 conference and the 62nd International Scientific Conference on Economic and Social Development. She has also supervised more than 10 Master's and PhD theses.
Ana Lorga da Silva completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics for Economics and Management at the University of Lisbon and a PhD in Computer Science at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 2005, under a cotutelle arrangement.
