Henrique Viana Espinosa de Oliveira holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Beira Interior (UBI), Portugal (2024), a Master's degree in Accounting Sciences with a specialisation in Finance from FUCAPE (2019), and a Bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2014).
His doctoral research focused on economic growth, energy consumption, international economic relations, and the impact of corruption on economic development, under the supervision of Professors Vítor Moutinho and Óscar Afonso.
He has teaching experience in national and international higher education institutions and has published scientific articles in international journals in the fields of economics, energy, sustainability, and development.
His main research topics include macroeconomics, institutional economics, international economics, economic growth, renewable and non-renewable energy consumption, corruption, and quantitative methods.
