João Marôco, Ph.D. (Washington State University, 1998), is a Full Professor at Universidade Lusófona and a specialist in Statistics and Research Methods. A consultant for the World Bank and the Education Statistics Initiative, he served as a board member of IAVE, I.P., where he led large-scale educational assessment studies (PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS, ICILS).
