João Pedro Valente da Silva Africano Portugal holds a Ph.D. in Tourism from the University of Algarve (2023), a Master's degree in Digital Marketing from the European University (2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communication from the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (2012). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Higher Institute (ISMAT). He has received a professional distinction and has participated in multiple research and technical development projects. His expertise lies in the Social Sciences, with a strong focus on Communication, Economics, and Management, particularly in areas such as consumer commitment, trust, loyalty (digital and traditional), quality, and value, with a specific emphasis on tourism and music festivals.
