José Manuel Vicente has a PhD in Management with Specialization in Aeronautical Management line research from the University of Évora, a Master's degree in Business Management from the University of Évora, Executive MBA in Air Transport Management/Civil Aviation from the Lusófona University in partnership with Cranfield University (U.K.) and INAC, IP., and a degree in Management from NOVA School of Business and Economics, Lisbon. Assistant Professor at Lusófona University (Lisbon), since 2009. Since 2009, he has held positions of director of a degree course in Aeronautical Management, director of a specialization course in airport operations, in partnership with ANA-Aeroportos de Portugal, member of the Pedagogical Council and Scientific Council of the School of Economic and Organizational Sciences, Lusófona University. He supervised 22 master's theses. Author of publications in international conference proceedings books (more than 30) and scientific articles indexed in Web of Science and indexed in Scopus (more than 20). He has an international book in the area of Digital Marketing and an international book chapter in the area of Education. Researcher at CETRAD - Intrepid Lab, based in Porto. In his professional activities, he interacted with 31 collaborator(s) in co-authoring scientific works. Participation in several National and International Congresses and has articles in the areas of management, aeronautics, tourism and society, with Scopus indexing. Reviewer of International Journals (Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 Scopus) and Member of the Scientific Board of the International Journal of Social Science and Innovative Technology. Member of ADEGI – Association for the Development of Global and Island Studies, Funchal, Madeira. Enthusiast of island studies of socio-economic analysis and development, related to impacts in the areas of tourism, mobility, infrastructure management, transport, sustainability, marketing, perception of quality, education and society.
