Paula is Professor and Researcher in Management and a researcher at INTREPID Lab – Research for Business and Society. She holds a PhD in Management from Universidade Europeia – Laureate International Universities, as well as academic training in Economics, Business Consulting and Human Resource Management.
Her academic and professional activity combines teaching, research and management experience in higher education. Since 2008, she has collaborated with managers in the development of leadership skills, supporting organisational improvement through leadership practices and management approaches. Following the completion of her PhD, she has served as Director of a Higher Education Institution and has lectured at several universities.
Her research focuses on Management, Leadership and Human Resource Management, with particular interest in leadership development, leadership competencies, coaching practices, creativity, innovation, social responsibility and sustainability. Her work explores how leadership approaches and people management practices can contribute to organisational effectiveness and long-term development.
Through her research and professional activities, Paula contributes to the understanding of leadership processes and management practices that support organisations in addressing contemporary challenges and fostering sustainable growth.
