Associate Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the Faculty of Engineering and at the School of Economic Sciences and Organizations of the Lusofona University – Lisbon University Centre. Main area of research: Mathematical Logic, Mathematics Teaching at higher, secondary and basic levels, analysis of social and political matters. Between 2007 and 2020 he held various positions and functions: Director of ISPO, President of the Technical-Scientific Council of ISPO, Deputy Director of the Research and Publications Center of ESE Almeida Garrett, Consultant for the European Parliament, ghost writer for science and research policies, equal opportunities and social and labor non-discrimination.
